Moving to Etsy.

Hello there,

I have some news to announce. I've decided to pack up shop and take it over to etsy, much to my chagrin.

I love etsy, I really do, but I only like it as a buyer. As a seller, it's kinda a bummer. With this blogshop, I am able to keep prices low, which in turn, I can pass on to you, the buyer. However, more and more people have contacted me saying they would prefer the shop to be hosted on etsy.

Etsy, just like any other service website, charges fees for its usage per transaction. They also charge a commission fee on the total amount for an item. So, that means I have to charge extra in order to make up for lost profit because of Etsy taking it's cut, which means prices are going to go up considerably. I am terribly sorry to have to do this.

I'm going to give it a month or two as a trial run. Like I said, I'm not too excited about moving, but we'll see how this goes.

Pre-Order Yumi's Jade Necklace

Alright girls, hold your breath! Cause what I'm about to tell you is going to take it away!

After MONTHS of scouring teh INTERNETS, I have found an affordable, medium quality real jade pendant like Yumi's! I have double checked with Emi, and she thinks it's a perfect match!

This is British Columbian Jade - real jade! It's medium quality meaning it's not the finest jade out there (it's nephrite, not jadeite) , but it's not faux jade. The pendant will come on a 18" sterling silver chain, meaning it's going to hit right about your collar bone (or there abouts). The pendant measures right at 1", so it's still pretty delicate looking while making a statement. Stones may vary in greenness as the iron content in the stone determines its color.

The shape (the intertwined loops, the infinity symbol if you turn the pendant horizontally) is said to be representative of two lives forever intertwined, never separated, paths always crossing. I wonder if Emi picked this shape for it's meaning? Does this allude to Miyabi and Yumi being together since Miyabi's mother had a similar jade necklace?

I thought now would be an appropriate time to introduce this since the necklace has made a reappearance in the manga and there seems to be a major event resting on it in this next page.

I don't know how many times I've said or I've seen people on the forums say they wished that they could have this necklace! Now you can! I'm too excited.

SO, if 10 people pre-order this necklace, I can get wholesale pricing. I can also get wholesale pricing on sterling chains if 10 people promise to order. In fact, the more people who order, the cheaper I get the goods, the lower your retail price. I've estimated that this piece will run about 25-35$, but no more than 35$ USD.

And remember, I send half of the profits directly over to emi, so you'll be helping to maintain the site, getting an extra page, and getting some bling. Everybody wins!

Yumi's Stroke of Midnight Bow Earrings

Aren't these just the sweetest? I just love bows in jewelry. With colors like black and gunmetal, they really take off the edge. Another TWTYH inspired piece, I think I could see Yumi wearing these to Orochi's concerts. And just like with the cell phone strap, when I think of Yumi and bows, I think of that infamous scene where she runs away from Miyabi at the stroke of midnight, or in Miyabi's words, "just like Cinderella."

Yumi's Midnight Bow Cell Phone Strap

How cute is this cell phone strap? This tiny gunmetal grey bow reminds me of the bow Yumi wears to one of Orochi's shows. Along with it, I paired a shiny black gem with a gunmetal backing. It's sweet, but it's also a little gothic because of the coloring. Perfect for your cell!

Sayaka's Purple Filigree Earrings

I love these. It almost hurts me to part with them, I think they are so pretty! Black matte filigree earrings with purple gems. There's a flower in the middle with a big purple gem as the center! They are extremely lightweight - you'll feel as if you're wearing nothing! These would be great for a night out.

Musashi's Black Diamonds

Musashi is the rough 'n tough longtime girlfriend (now, fiancée) of Shuya. She has piercings, short hair, and I picture her as being the type to get away with wearing a big, bold, red lip color.

These earrings match her personality perfectly. They demand attention. They are what I call angular chandeliers. You first focus on the big black diamond in the middle and all the straight lines, but you also get the feminine chandelier effect with the white gem among all the black ones. If you look even closer, you can see the intricate pattern in the metal. They'd be great for everyday wear or a night out with your girls.
